Well, hello there! I'm so glad you found me.
"No man, proclaimed Donne, is an island, and he was wrong. If we were not islands, we would be lost, drowned in each other's tragedies. We are insulated (a word that means, literally, remember, made into an island) from the tragedy of others,
by our island nature and by the repetitive shape and form of the stories.
The shape does not change: there was a human being who was born, lived and then by some means or other, died. There.
You may fill in the details from your own experience.
As unoriginal as any other tale, as unique as any other life."
-Neil Gaiman, American Gods

My name is Mollie and you've clicked on this tab to get to know more about me.
I wear a lot of hats, none of which tell the whole story.
Writer / Storyteller: I shrugged off chasing the status quo to put on my artsy pants. Everyone should do this at least once in their lifetime
In doing so, I've also discovered the quickest way to knock yourself down a few pegs is to tell stories to a live audience ... of children. Thankfully, this can also be the quickest way to inflate your ego. Choose your words - and your hand gestures - wisely.
My flash fiction stories have been featured on Flash Fiction Magazine and Tipsy Lit's Prompted. I also like to pop in at Yeah Write's speakeasy and moonshine grid. My first novel, Screwed, will be released in 2014. My second novel, Crossing the Veil is in hyper-editing mode and will be released to beta readers later this year. If you'd like to be a beta reader, send me an email!
Woman-on-a-Mission: I have a big heart for mamas shouldering the frustration and confusion that comes with loving their child through mental illness. I believe there is a beautiful strength in numbers, and together we can turn our mess into a message. Our stories give identity to the unpleasant bits of life. Our stories can change perception, and breathe life into those dark corners.
Wife-Mother-Sister-Daughter-Friend-Cousin Twice Removed on Your Father's Side: I am ridonkulously blessed with a wackadoo family and great friends who love me unconditionally. That's the revelation: I'm a lucky bastard.
